ActeAZ, the Association for Career Technical Education of Arizona is a volunteer professional non-profit association for Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers and administrators.
How do we keep people informed and up to date about hundreds of events over 5 days, taking place in 3 different locations?
We created an app that allows teachers and educators navigate the complex schedule in a friendly way. It also provides info about the exhibitions available during the conference.
As a way to customize the experience, we’ve also introduced a way that app users can save the events they are interested in, to make sure they are not missed.
The app also provides information about conference grounds, hotels and dining locations that are associated with the conference.
Bing such a complex conference, we’ve learned how to better handle multiple events, locations and days both from an information architecture perspective as well as from an API development one.
